Trying to make this computer work ….?
I scavanged a team out of the recycle bin at work. It had no memory, hard disk or card video. I have the correct memory for it, took a hard drive and video card from a different computer. (the team took a P3 and this is a P4 both are dimensions of Dell). I tried plugging in a switch on, nothing happens, the motherboard LED lights, so when I try to power anything. I changed the power supply with a larger energy source of the other computer, still nothing, LED light still goes on though. I caught him with a power source I drew from e-machines a while ago, it launched the hard drive and fans, but did not appear on the monitor, after about 30 seconds to close the whole thing. Anyone have any idea what I do to fix this? And the power supply of the other works fine dell, dell became the other. the disc was working hard. and memory is the new memory so that in theory should work well too.
