Short Term Memory Loss Alzheimer’s
Do you know your birth date? The name of the President or Prime Minister? These are questions that are regularly used to detect memory loss – the first symptom Alzheimer's disease.
Although memory loss in all cases of Alzheimer's disease can be difficult to detect in early stages and many patients achieve good cover during testing as a matter of pride.

Although the test is deceptively easy it is also very useful as it is easy, cheap, non-evasive and helps diagnose Alzheimer's disease or dementia and an indication of the patient areas of memory that can be affected.
Care should always be taken as a low score on its own does not prove dementia or Alzheimer's disease, because not all people who know all answers to the questions!
Instead, a guide or an indication that something may be wrong and requires further investigation.
