Photographic Memory Facts

Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest. All my life, I had trouble in school because I couldn’t remember subjects, and I had a hard time understanding new concepts. I always assumed I was just … well, not the sharpest tool in the shed, but all the while I always refused being labeled as dumb. For this reason, I always worked extra hard to get some decent results. For many years it certainly did the trick, and this method did take me all the way through college. However, it was only recently that I had been working hard rather than working smart. And right now my priority is improving my ability to work as smart as possible; this is something I’m hoping to achieve through a series of memory exercises. And I must say that I’m very confident in what can be achieved with these methods.

I always thought that people are just born with certain skills, and that was that. Some people are good at sports, some people are good at science, some people have good memory. Looking back in perspective, I can see I was extremely limited by my own thought processes. Truth of the matter is that mind can be exercised just like any other muscle! People who seem naturally smart are just people who’ve learned to keep flexing their mental muscles naturally. Likewise, people with photographic memories are just people who have learned to use their memory like a photographic camera. It may sound over simplistic, but that’s really all there is to it. Once you realize how your mind works, improving your thinking, memory and concentration is as simple as following the right memory exercises.

I really don’t understand why people insist on separating mind from body, when they’re really two sides of the same coin! In fact, they can get exercised in quite similar fashion. If you want to get ripped abs, you need to find a good exercise and diet program that will push you towards your goal. If you want to get photographic memory, it’s very much the same! You just need to know about appropriate memory exercises, and practice hard until your memory grows stronger. And that may take a lot less time than you imagine. Our minds are so crippled from lack of exercises, that amazing feats can be expected, from doing just a little bit of exercise each day!
