Mental Improvement
Guy’s can anybody tell me if there is an organization that stands for people that have mental health problems
I have a friend who has been experiencing psychological problem for a year or so after he saw the violent death of his Grand father and his situation has not shown much improvement even though he is on multiple prescription medications He has no more relatives capable of looking out for his welfare. and I am concerned that his treatment may not be appropriate but I have no legal standing from which to question the medical staff working with him.
There is such an organization. It is the “National Alliance on Mental Illness.” a non-profit nationwide advocacy, educational, research and support group with chapters in every state.
Information on its activities and how to contact local groups may be obtained by going to:
www.info@nami.org
