Memory Loss Tia

Loss of short-term memory – Male Age 34?

My husband, 34, is experiencing trouble with memory loss. 3 years ago I had a TIA (transient ischemic attack) Nothing was found on MRI performed later and the neurologist said he would probably never again happen. But in the last year of his short term memory has become very poor. For example, today we are talking and gave a phone number to call. Less than a minute Then I called the phone number – I had just given him. Similar things happen all the time – will answer questions, participate in a conversation and then fail to remember, just a few minutes later. When I say we just talked about something he jokes that he should have tuned me out. This is more serious than that – it is responding and participating in conversations that I remember, I think it has affected their job performance and I want him to get help. Of course he does not believe that something is wrong so you do not see the need to see a doctor. I appreciate any ideas!

If you're depressed, it would be a cause. Otherwise its just age.
