Anyone diagnosed with fibromyalgia???
I am a survivor of 23 years of fibromyalgia and other health problems that come along with it, including chronic fatigue, anxiety and panic attacks, migraines, (ATM), a jaw disorder, depression, 24 / 7 severe pain of body full restless legs syndrome, hyposomnia, anemia, loss of short-term memory, vision and hearing complications (IBS) irritable syndrome bowel, chest pains, ashma and degenerative disc disease spine, to name just a few! I am 44 and have suffered from this since I was 21.It took ten years or more and about 20 doctors b / 4 diagnosed.Fibromyalgia known as invisble illness that makes it very difficult diagnose. There pain is mild to severe and pervasive 18 trigger points that I happen to have all. Everyone is affected differently, however, very similar symptoms.I love to listen to others out there who suffer and have been diagnosed with this debilitating disease!
my mom has fibromyalgia. she has her good days and bad days. bad days called "FM days ". She will be in much pain and it is difficult to do much. She is now 48 and has had for years aNumber. still out there that Doctors do not believe the disease exists. my mother is affected at any time the weather changes a lot (almost all other days where I live). She thinks it is something to do with air pressure for her. is challenging, fun to drive. I used to play guitar and sing, but she can not do that on most days. She is learning to work and just accept that part of IT life. I hope you can find a way to cope. Like you said, is an invisible illness, but it is definitely real.
