Brain Memory Exercises
Memory exercise: flex those mental muscles until you feel the power!
Ah… the human brain. Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the finest instruments any of us will ever own. Forget about your high-tech laptops, latest generation smart phones and intricate gadgets. If you want to impress your friends with something that really matters, just show them what a powerful tool the human mind can be, when properly trained. And no, I don’t mean to propose that you can achieve telepathy or clairvoyance from doing memory exercise; however, I do know for a fact that it’s possible to achieve an almost photographic memory or drastically optimize your thinking processes, just by doing the right kinds of memory exercise.
Just try to imagine what if would feel like! Being able to memorize phone numbers almost automatically. Looking at a picture for 10 seconds, and being able to describe it with extreme detail. Reading a book or watching a movie and being able to write down an extended summary of the plot, complete with several complex quotes. Wouldn’t that be something? Well, they’re all things than can be achieved with memory exercise. Most people are getting too reliant on technology as a substitute for thinking, and I think that’s really a shame! Technology can provide us with great complimentary tools, but we shouldn’t forget that our single most powerful tool is already in our skull… and we barely use a fraction of is true potential.
That’s why I think people should use mental exercises as a means to get much stronger and faster thinking and recall abilities. I remember the first time I read about the whole concept of memory exercise. At first it sounded a little far-fetched, and almost too good to be true. But I started looking up some brain exercises on the Internet, and I even purchased a digital guide focused on brain improvement. I’m very happy I realized such thing was indeed possible! I now feel as though I’ve been living most of my life in hindsight and limitation.
I always assumed I had moderate mental skills, and there wouldn’t be much I could do about it. Nowadays, that kind of reasoning seems so shallow I can barely begin to express why is that. I now believe that our mind can be exercised almost to genius level. In fact, I now think of geniuses as “bodybuilders of the mind”: people who have learned, from an early age, to keep pushing the boundaries of what they can achieve with their brains… only to realize there are really no limits except those we set for ourselves!
