Brain Exercise Puzzles

I have trouble sleeping. Brain puzzles I tried hard and strenuous exercise. NOTHING HELPS!?

Every night I exhaust myself trying everything until around 3 or 4am, accident. I gotta get up every morning at 8am. About every couple of weeks, my system shuts down and sleep for 14-18 hours, then begins again. My doctor has suggested bipolar disorder and anxiety, but medicines for both did nothing. I just want a good night sleep! When I sleep I shake and turn and wake up every half hour or so. If anyone has any suggestions please help me!

There are medications / drugs such as Ambien, but first recommend trying a natural product. Natural products are drug-free so no side effects and does not cause dependence.
